Allison has worked in the auction world for more than 30 years.
From regional & local auction houses to one of the top three London-based auction rooms, her experience is extensive.
Her knowledge spans a variety of subjects with particular emphasis on British and Continental ceramics, furniture and pictures.
Allison has catalogued and photographed many specialist collections including Moorcroft, Lalique and a wonderful collection of 18th and 19th Century silver mustard pots, to name a few.
She has vast experience in the organisation of an auction room and, as the sector has modernised, she's been central in using online auction packages and specialist software packages used by many in the profession.
Allison is regularly asked to value individual items and private collections and has organised on-site country house sales and specialist auctions with evening previews for targeted private collectors and dealers.
